Comments:	Sebastian Pott wrote: "This is the first of three Devon-tuned mbiras. They were commissioned by Catherine Rose for Chartwell [Dutiro], Elmar [Pohl] and me, built in the spring of 2006. They were tuned to Catherine's mbira, which may have been made by Garikayi Tirikoti but retuned by someone else in the meantime. Chartwell coined the name 'Devon Tuning' as more and more people attending the 'Zimbabwe in Devon' camps ordered mbiras from me in this tuning." Recorded at the maker's house in August 2025. Sebastian used this mbira to tune all subsequent Devon tuning mbiras he made.
